Sneaking in the dead of night, Sara and Sukie
arrives at the castle’s wall. Sara placed her hands on the wall. She, then,
gripped it and pried open a hole in the wall. After climbing through the hole,
Sara closed the wall and made her way to the dungeon, hoping Mia was there,
while Sukie look in the inner palace. Sadly, neither was successful because Mia
wasn’t nowhere to be found. However, in the dungeon, Sara did see a bunch of
dying and dead demon and beast men.
“Sukie, did you find lady Mia? Because I found
something unthinkable and upsetting.” Sara said into her communicator.
“What did you find?”
“This kingdom has been capturing demon and beast
men, and slowly been torturing them til they die. We need to find a way to help
them.”
“I agree, but we need to complete our mission first.
Did you find Mia in the dungeon?”
“Sadly, no.” Sara answered.
Sukie sighed and said “Keep looking and meet up at
the rendezvous in ten minutes. We’ll discuss on how well get those surviving
demons and beast men out?”
“Right, I’ll heal those who I can?” Sara said,
concernedly.
“Okay, signing off,” Sukie said. ”Where could she
be?” she thought to herself as she reached a tower. She activated her arm gauntlets, shooting a
metallic cable up to the highest point. She, then, propelled herself up the
side of the tower to an open window. As she climbed through the window, a
candle lights.
“Who are you?” A feminine voice asks as she places
the candle dish down on the table beside her.
Sukie, frozen, slowly turned around to see a woman
wearing the same clothing as Sukie. Confused, Sukie immediately pulled the
first weapon she could think of.
“Hey now, calm down. I’m not an enemy. If you’re
dress like that, that must mean you’ve met a man named Reo Lucrada.”
“Reo? Lucrada? No, my master’s name is Reiji Toujou.
A person from another world with amazing powers.” Sukie replied.
“Huh, well, at least I was right the part where he
was from another world. Sadly, he’s not the person I was hoping for. Well,
looks like I need to discipline my son myself. Would’ve been nice to have him
here to help. Especially since my son doesn’t listen to my advice since he
doesn’t like demons. He’s just like his big-headed father. Idiotic and
Stubborn. Not to mention, lustful.” The woman ranted.
“Wait, are you perhaps the queen of Roley?” Sukie
asks as she stops the woman’s ranting.
“Well, I’m the former queen of this country, Adriana
Lucrada, the mistress of the king and queen of Jan-gu.” She replied.
Sukie put the weapon away and looked at her
again. She noticed that Adriana looked
like she realized the weapon. “Jan-gu? How do you know what Jan-gu are?”
“Well, that’s a long story, and I’m assuming you’re
looking for something or someone.” Adriana said. Sukie looked shocked. “Well,
that’s my answer. Who are you looking for?”
Sukie sighed.
“Her name is Mia Blackrose, the right-hand guardian to Reiji Toujou.”
“Oh, the poor girl that my son chose from the
millions within the country to be his mistress.”
“You’ve heard of her? Do you know where she is?”
Sukie asked excitedly.
“Yeah, she’s probably in the hidden room inside the
king’s chambers. He uses it as a royal s** dungeon to train his women. And,
before you ask, no I didn’t know he uses it for that. I overheard some maids
talk about it today. Hence the reason for Reo.”
“Huh, can you help me get to it?” Sukie asked.
“Sure, I’ll help you, but I need to you to change
out of those clothes.” Adriana answered as she searched for some clothes for
Sukie. Finding some clothes, Adriana looks back at Sukie and saw her wings.
“Oh, you’re a demon I see.”
“Right, you must be going to turn to me into the
king now right.” Sukie said as she closed her wings.
“Of course not, why would I do that to my own kind.”
Adriana said as she reached Sukie the clothes.
“You’re a demon. What are you doing here? How are
you so okay when your own kind are suffering throughout the world? Hell, even
in your own kingdom. Demons suffers judgement, slavery, even death at the hands
of these humans.”
“What are you talking about? Roley is supposed to be
a haven for demons. A place they can hide from the humans that hunt them.”
“Then, why did my colleague find dying demons in the
dungeons of this castle.” Sukie asked, confused.
“What!?” Adriana said, shocked.
“Huh, you didn’t know…did you?” Sukie said as she
looks at Adriana’s horrid expression. Adriana shook her head. “Oh… How is that
possible? Aren’t you the queen? How could you not have information about what’s
going on in the kingdom?”
“Well, since my son took over his duties as king,
the people have lost respect for me as queen. It’s as if someone told them to
ignore me completely. My guess is his advisor, Radeus Greyford. His father was
my ex-husband’s advisor. His hate for me must’ve been passed down through the
family.”
“Huh, makes sense. He easily undermined you once you
succeed your throne. But, what I don’t get is why is a demon king treating his
people like this?”
“That because
he’s not a demon. He’s a hundred percent human.”
“How is that… “Trust me, I don’t know. His sister is
complete demon even after Reo gave her a power boost.”
“Power boost?”
“It’s apart of the mistress ceremony I took apart of
with his wife, Anko. My daughter and I were given a boost of power, evolving us
into Demonic Dragons.”
“What?” Sukie said, confused.
“We’re demons capable of channeling the powers of a
dragon. Even, transforming into one at will is possible.” Adriana explained.
“That’s… suddenly a ringing from Sukie’s back
pocket. She pulls out the holographic projector from earlier and tosses it into
the air, automatically answering the call.
“Sukie, I’m calling to inform you that the demons at
that house are safe and are currently headed back to Kaolin. Anything to report
on your mission?” Reiji said as his hologram appeared.
“Well, according to Sara, the dungeons are full of
injured and dead demons. However, none of them turned out to be Mia. Luckily,
I’ve found a lead that might…
“Reo?” Adriana said with a shocked expression.
“No, but how do you know my father?” Reiji answered.
“Father!?” Adriana and another voice yelled out in
shock.
Sukie turned around and pointed a gun at the man. It
was King Jupiter or Arres Roley.
“Son, what are you doing here? And, didn’t I teach
you to knock before entering a lady’s room? Unbecoming a ki…
“Enough of your rambling, old woman!” Arres shouted.
Then, he slowly walks closer to Sukie who slowly backs away towards the window.
“That’s a pretty piece of equipment you have there. I’ve never seen something
so advanced. Well, ever since I cast out that place. Tell me, how much do you
want for it?”
“Not for sale,” Reiji said.
“Oh, I don’t think you know the difference between
me and you. When I offer to buy it, I’m being nice. Otherwise, I’ll just kill
for it like so.” He said as he summoned eight spears of light. Then, he aimed
them at Sukie and fired them at her.
“No!” Reiji said as he extended his arm.
Unfortunately, Sukie was pierced through, killing her instantly.
“Well, would you look at that? Your advanced
technology belongs to me now.” Arres said as he reached for Sukie corpse.
“How dare you do that, Arres. Have I not taught you
better?” Adriana said as she grabbed his arm.
“Let go of me demon! Or I’ll have you executed!” He
yelled as he yanked his arm back.
“What happened to you?” Adriana said as she looked
at her son with disgust.
“I grew up.” He answered as he summoned eight more
spears.
“Enough!” Reiji said as he appeared out of thin air.
Immediately, Arres fell to a knee, weak from Reiji’s pressure. Then, Reiji
walked over to Sukie’s dead body and knelt. “Don’t worry about anything else?
Leave the rest to me.” He said as he summoned a small device. Then, he laid her
body down and drew out a small red flame from her body, placing it into the
device. This device was a soul container. It was device that allowed Reiji to
keep and preserve the souls of his fallen people until he learned how to
reincarnate them later. He used something similar to transfer Sage into his
Armory computer before it gotten upgraded by Reo and Anko. Then, he took out
the special container suit, he used on his grandfather, and placed it on her
chest, wrapping itself tightly around her corpse. Then, he teleported the device back to the
armory.
“Sara, status,” Reiji said telepathically as he
pulled armor and weapons to him.
“Oh, lord Reiji, I didn’t know you were here.
Where’s Sukie?”
“Sukie, she was killed by King Jupiter after he
found her. I was too late.”
“No, milord, don’t blame yourself. It’s not your
fault. We were prepared for anything to happen in the field. Besides, it’s only
thanks to you that we have this opportunity to save our people.”
“Right, thank you.” Reiji said as his body regressed
back to his seven-year-old form. “I thought I fixed this problem.” He thought
to himself. “What’s your location?”
“I just entered some kind of damp cave that was
connected to the dungeons. But, we do have a lot of demon and beast men that
needs extraction.” Sara answered as she summoned a light. “Woah, Milord, I just
discovered something that extremely terrifying.”
“What is it?” Reiji asked.
“The kingdom of Roley has been trying to resurrect
the demon beast of old.”
“Demon Beast of Old? What’s that?”
Adriana, suddenly, rushes over and slaps Arres. “You
ungrateful brat! You desecrated my mother’s grave and removed her corpse. For
what?” She yelled as she radiated a deadly aura. However, Arres just sat there
and stayed quiet. Angry, Adriana pulled back her hand and quickly swung it
towards Arres’ face. However, she was stopped inches away from his face by
Reiji.
“Tell me. What are the Demon beast of Old?” Reiji
asked.
“They were the original demon king’s generals and
his offspring. They were the most powerful demons in the world. No hero could
stop them no matter how they tried. That was until they challenged your father.
They fought to their last breath, but in the end they sacrificed themselves in
order to win. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out for them. However. In honor
of their sacrifice, Reo buried their dead bodies in four secret locations only
known to him and me.”
“And, one of them was your mom. I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be. Your father fought them to save me from
them. Besides, they were out of control and needed to be handled. The four of
them together were a threat to all races, not just the humans. Anyways, if what
she says is true, we need to stop them before they resurrect.”
“You won’t make it. Hell, even if you make it down
there, the process is irreversible. They’re going to be resurrected no matter
what you do, and even more powerful than than that pathetic man my mother has
been obsessed with. Oh, right, your father.”
Reiji punched Arres, knocking him unconscious. “Shut
up,” he said as he pressed a button on his holoband. “Sage, I need the
primordial suit mom and dad gave me.”
“You sure, use that suit with your body like this.
Your powers could go berserk.”
“Yeah, I had a feeling you would say that, but the
Demon Beasts of Old are being resurrected.” Reiji said.
“Alright, I’ll activate the Demon Beast Protocol.”
“Demon Beast Protocol?”
“One of the many new protocols Reo installed when
him and Anko upgraded the Armory. And some of them I’m still going through as
we speak.” Sage answered with an annoyed tone.
“Are you okay?” Reiji asked.
Sage sighed and said “I’m fine…I’m not used to the
upgrades he gave me yet. Some of my emotions get out of control when it comes
to Genocidal beings like those demons. Anyway, your suit is on the way. Also,
your mother wanted me to let you know you’re going to be in trouble when you
get back.”
“What! Why?” Reiji said, concernedly.
“Something about stealing a wife from another man
and not do your job as king.” Sage said.
Reiji had a cold look on his face, as if his soul
left his body.
“Hey, are you okay?” Adriana asked.
“I’m fine. I need you to do me a favor.”
“Go get Mia BlackRose from the king’s chambers and
evacuate the castle.”
“Yes, here, take this. Once you’re outside inside
the courtyard, press this button. A portal should open up and three big rigs
should appear. Load up everybody who works here in one truck, the dead demons
in another, and the living demons in the last one. They should automatically
drive you all to a safe distance. If not , ask Sage for help. I’ll try to keep
the demon beast at bay.” Reiji explains as he hands Adriana a locator beacon.
“Okay,” Adriana says before Reiji speeds off to
Sara’s location.
Over the castle, a pod comes out of a portal and
crashes next to the dungeon’s entrance. Reiji arrives and sees the pods.
Placing a hand on the pod, it opens, revealing a black and blue leather suit
with a visor. As he reached for it, the suit stretched out and formed around
his body. “Woah, this is crazy. I feel a lot more powerful in this suit than
the ones I made.”
“Well, that’s because this one is made with Void
energy. They infused your suit with it and designed it to continue do that.
However, until you awaken as a primordial, you can only use it sparingly.” Sage
explained as he appeared on his visor.
“Side effects?”
“No, the suit will lose its power gradually like a
battery, and it will become weaker over time. So, try to finish them quickly.”
“Right,” Reiji said as he ran into the dungeon.
Meanwhile, flying to the king’s chambers as fast as
she could, Adriana yelled out to everyone in the castle.
“Jachu, Jachu, Everyone to the courtyard. We are
evacuating the castle.”
“Adriana, please control yourself. Why are you
flying around yelling like that? And, dressed in those horrid clothes?” Radeus
Greyford said as he stood in her way to the king’s chamber, which was a few
feet away.
“Radeus, I don’t have time to deal with you. We need
to evacuate the castle. Get to the courtyard. I’ll meet you there later.”
Adriana says as she tries to pass by Radeus.
“No, you’re not going any further without telling
me.” Radeus said as he grabbed Adriana.
Annoyed, Adriana’s arm became hotter until it
ignited, burning Radeus’ hand. “Don’t you ever touch me again.”
“Demon!” He yells out in fear.
“Wow, what gave me away? The wings? the eyes? The
fire? Either way I don’t care. Now excuse me.” She said before walking away.
Opening the king’s chamber’s door, Adriana was immediately shocked. The room
was filled with bloody women chained up to the wall, blind-folded, and almost
naked. Each one of them had a scar on their necks, indicating that Arres
forcibly silenced them. Then, she looked over to one of the girls and realized
that he even did this to his first wife, Neptis, a young girl who she recommended
to him herself. Disgusted by her child, Adriana rushed to help the women down.
Then, she saw her. Mia was covered in the most bruises and cut of all the
girls, and was barely breathing. Her face was beaten brutally, to the point
where she could barely see from the swelling. Then, Adriana looked more
closely. Arres blinded her by thinly and shallowly slashing her eyes so no
blood would come out. Then, she caught a whiff of something she was scared of.
“He didn’t. That bastard child of mine. I’ll have him pay for everything he’s
done to you.” Adriana said as she held back her tears. “How am I going to get
you all out of here?” She looked around and saw nothing to help her carry out
the girls. Noticing the window, she rushed over to it and looked out. Fortunately,
the courtyard, where everyone was supposed to meet, was below. Opening the
window, Adriana climbed upon the seal. “Don’t move. I’ll be right back.” She
said as she jumped.
Landing softly, Adriana pulled out the locator
beacon and pressed the button and a portal opened. And, like Reiji said, Three
big rigs came out and lined up in a row. Climbing into one of the Rigs, Adriana
called out to Sage.
“Sage, I need your help. I can’t get Mia and the
other girls out of the King’s chambers.”
“Why what’s wrong?” Sage asked.
Adriana told Sage what she found in the king’s
chambers. And, immediately, he knew if Reiji found out about this news he would
go berserk or feel extremely guilty.
“Right, that is a problem. Especially, since they
won’t be able to jump out of the window like you. Luckily, we have Airstriders
for that exact reason. God, I hate this upgrade. Anyway, I’ll fly you a
strider, so you load up those girls and bring them here to safety.”
“Alright, but what about border control? Won’t your
country frown upon immigrants?” Adriana said.
“No, don’t worry. The Airstrider will be flying high
in the sky, so no one is going to notice it.”
Down in the dungeon, Reiji arrives at Sara’s
location and sees the coffins of the Demon beasts, surrounding a necromancer,
who was casting a revival spell.
“How long has he been casting?” Reiji asked.
“For about five minutes. I think he’s almost done
with the spell. So, what should we do?” Sara asked..
“For now, I want you return to the surface and get
on a rig. I’ll stay behind and handle them.” Reiji said, as he summoned a pair
of pistols and placed them on his sides. The suit easily assimilated them and
moved them behind him. Then, he summoned a strange hilt, similar to the one Mia
had. But, this one had small gem stone sticking out from the top, as if it was
a magic wand or staff the adventurers use. Then, he looked back at Sara. “Why
are you still here? Go!” He said.
“Lord, I’m sorry but I can’t do that. I can’t just
leave you here to handle a selfish, greedy person crazed fanta…
Reiji grabs Sara and jumps away from their hiding
spot as a magic spell strikes there.
“Oh, you dodged that. Huh… here I thought , you
weren’t going to be a major opposition.Too bad, I was hoping to have my
complete focus on these four demon corpse since they hold a much power. But,
now I have to focus at least ten percent of my time on you.” The necromancer
said.
“Sara, I’m ordering you to leave. Now!” Reiji said
as he placed Sara down. He, then, grabbed his pistol and shot at the
necromancer.
“Sorry, lord Reiji, but I not leaving. So, deal with
it.” Sara replied as she slammed her hands on the ground, causing the ground to
shake and knock the necromancer off balance.
“Right, I forgot about that.” He thought to himself.
“Okay, new plan. I’m going to see if I can get rid of those coffins, while you
distract the necromancer.”
“Ok,”
“Good luck,” Reiji said before rushing off to the
coffins. Following Reiji’s lead, Sara pushed through while firing compressed
air at the necromancer, knocking him back away from the coffins.
“You insolent, little girl! I’ll kill you and turn
you into my personal undead slave.” The necromancer said.
“I like to see you try.” Sara said as she continued
her onslaught of compressed air blast.
Reiji, meanwhile, arrives at the first coffin and
sees the body of a humanoid bat in a decomposed state. “Woah, he looks like
something out of comic book. And smells like five-year-old milk.” Reiji thought
to himself as he covered his nose. Suddenly, the corpse grabs Reiji by the neck
and screams in his face. “Ow, dude!” Reiji says as he covers his ears. However,
the corpse continued to scream as the other rose up out of their coffins.
“Okay, that’s it. No more Mr. nice guy.” Reiji said as he as his eyes began to
glow. Suddenly, a beam of energy shot from his eyes, hitting the bat in his
face.
Upset and in pain, the bat threw Reiji back into a
wall behind Sara. Then, he touched his face, which was slowly recovering. After
finishing recovering, the bat and the other corpses leave the room, making
their way to the surface.
“Shit!” Reiji said as he went after them.
“Lord Reiji! Wait!” Sara yells out as her eyes turn.
Suddenly, jet black blades rose from the ground, piercing Sara from all sides.
“I told you, didn’t I? My personal undead slave.”
Sara smiles. “You wanna bet?” She says. Suddenly,
her armor disassembled off her body and reassembled on the necromancer.
“Self-destruct activate, code 10032” Sara said.
“Code recognized. Self-destruct in t-minus 3,2,1.”
Sage said.
Sara’s armor explodes, completely destroying the
necromancer’s body. “Come back from that.” Sara said with the last of her
strength, passing out.
Bursting through the door leading outside, the
corpses roared, which echoed to the kingdom’s borders. Then each corpse took
off in a different direction, reeking havoc, and chaos.
Reiji sighed. “Sage, I need a location on the
corpses.” He said into his earpiece.
“Really, you couldn’t keep them contained. We really
need to find a fix your regression and get you back to fighting shape.” Sage
said.
“Can you do it without the attitude?”
“I’m just saying. Jan-gu are the second strongest
race in the entire omniverse. There’s no reason for you to be struggling like
this. Unless” Sage said.
“Unless what?”
“Unless you want to be weak. Meaning you’re afraid
of what you can do. And, Raven’s betrayal made things even worse by adding to
the instability of your powers. And it’s getting worse and worse by the
minute.”
“Are you done? Cause people are dying.”
“I had a lock on them before you even asked.
Luckily, they’re still in the city, thanks to your classmates and the Roley
soldiers. But they won’t last long enough for fight one even with your
Primordial suit.”
“So, what can I do?” Reiji asked.
Sage remained silent.
“Did you just go quiet? Don’t tell me you’re stumped
on this problem.”
“No, of course not. I’m hesitant about the answer. I
was thinking I could give you a power boost and see if that’ll bring you back
to your original state before your regression for a few minutes. But you’ll be
vulnerable afterwards.”
“Got any other plans?”
“No, you being in this weaken state like this makes
it hard to come up with plans.”
“Don’t you think bashing me like that also affects
me since it’s a mental issue?”
“True, but I’m not bashing you. I’m releasing my
frustrations to help me think more effectively. But, I’m sorry if you thought I
was. Truthfully, I’m more worried about your situation. Because the regressions
of a hybrid only last for a day or two. But yours has been doing on for a
month, and that is unheard of.”
“Really, a month. It doesn’t even feel like we’ve
been in this world for a month. More like a couple days.”
“Well, to be honest, you were asleep for most of
that time. And, poor Touka had to face that punishment by herself. Dealing with
Tai and his party by herself. Poor girl.”
“Right! The punishment that idiot guild master gave
us. So, Touka took care of it. How?”
“She and Satania threatened his life if he didn’t
take doing that one job as a suitable punishment. Let’s just say he was glad to
comply when Satan showed him her demon form.”
“Satan? Wait… she did
what!” Reiji shouted.
“Don’t worry, she didn’t kill him. Just gave him a
slight scare. Oh, and helped Layla and her family get away from Tai and his
party. She did a lot while you were sleep.”
“Oh, remind me to thank her later.”
“Got it. Anyways, I think I have a solution to your
problem. But you might feel a little out of place.”
“Let me guess. You want to have control over my
body.”
“No, I was going to give you a second persona based
on your father’s personality and ability.”
“Really? That sounds dangerous.”
“Don’t worry, I’m one hundred percent sure it’s not
dangerous.” Sage said.
Suddenly, a magic circle appeared around Reiji,
engulfing him in light.
