After a few hours of driving, Reiji and the others arrive
at the gates of Sadonis. There, they were inspected and charged a toll for
entry by the guards. Luckily, Raven had the gold to pay for it. After paying
the toll and entering, they drove to a big building in the center of the town.
This building was the adventurer’s guild.
“Why are we here, Bro?” Touka asked.
“We need to register as adventurers. We’ll need money and
information for our journey.” He replied.
“Plus, with guild cards, you won’t need to pay a toll to
enter any city,” Mia said.
“Alright but explain one thing to me. Why didn’t those
guards freak out when they saw Murakumo?”
“That’s the illusion magic I enchanted to the car. So,
all they saw was a horse pulling a wagon.”
“Oh, illusion magic. Yeah, that’s completely normal.”
Touka said sarcastically.
Reiji sighed and got out of the car. Following Reiji’s
lead, they walked in the guild to the receptionist’s desk. As they walked
through the guild, they were getting different looks from the diverse people
sitting in the guild. There were young mages, rough rogues, and rugged
swordsmen. The aura radiating from the people made Raven and Reiji excited.
This was a bloodlust that they shared due to the fact they were Jan-gu hybrids.
Suddenly, Reiji heard a soft, calming voice.
“Can I help you?”
Reiji instantly snapped out of his bloodlust. A
beautiful, blonde woman was standing behind the desk. Touka and Raven, noticing
Reiji’s nervousness, pushed him out of the way, leaving Reiji confused. He
looked at Mia wondering what he did.
“We’re here to register as adventurers.” They said.
“Alright... please place your hands on this crystal, and
we’ll register you four as adventurers.” the receptionist said innocently.
One by one, Reiji, Touka, Reina, and Raven placed their
hands on the crystal, and copied their statuses onto cards. Luckily, Reiji had
the foresight to enchant his, Reina’s, and Raven’s IDs with magic that conceals
a person’s stats.
“Okay, here you are. Reiji, Touka, Raven, and Reina...
you’re now registered as adventurers. You can take guild jobs up to Rank E.”
The receptionist said as she passed out the guild cards.
“Thank you,” They all said.
Little did they know, old trouble was close. He sat
across the room from the receptionist’s desk, drinking and waiting for three of
the members of his party, who were talking to the guild master.
“Hey, isn’t that Reiji and his sister over there?” One of
his party asked.
The guy looked over at the receptionist’s desk and saw
him. Suddenly, he grinned maliciously.
“WELL, I’LL BE DAMNED! It’s Toujou! And his sister. So,
you two were summoned here, too.” He yelled a crossed the room.
“Reiji, who’s that?” Raven asked.
“Nobody for you to be worried about. How about you take
Reina and Mia and look for a good job for us.”
“Okay, but are you sure? I could help.” She said
concernedly.
“I know you can, but we shouldn’t draw any unwanted
attention to us. Let me talk to the unwanted person while you go pick out our
debut job.” He said softly and calmly.
Raven nodded and walked away with Reina and Mia to the
job board. Then, Reiji sighed and walked to the guy calling out to them, with
Touka behind him.
“Hi, guys, how you been?” Reiji said forcefully.
“Good, Good. We had some trouble here and there, but that
solved itself. If you know what I mean.” the guy said with an arrogant look on
his face.
“Disgusting,” Touka mumbled to herself.
“What was that, Brat! Say it louder so I can hear it!” He
said a little more hostile.
“I said “Disgusting Pig!” Touka said responding to his hostility.
She was surprisingly aggressive.
“Toujou! Handle your Bitch before she gets hurt.” one of
the guy’s party members said.
“First of all, I don’t take orders from you nor from this
delinquent reject. So, don’t think of me any differently. Secondly, I don’t
control my sister, nor is she my bitch. She is her own person. You will do well
to remember that.” Reiji said calmly, but truthfully, he was building up a lot
of power inside his body, ready to be released.
“Well, it looks like someone grew a pair when he came to
this world. I wonder what happened.” The same guy said as he and his leader
back down.
“I bet it’s because of that woman and little girl you
were talking to. How about you let us have a couple of rounds with that woman,
tonight.” the leader said with a lustful smirk on his face.
“You son of a…
Before Touka finished her sentence, Reiji punched him in
the face as hard as he could, launching him into the wall. Suddenly, the other
party members drew their weapons and held them towards Reiji.
“If you don’t want to die, I suggest you lower your
weapons. Now!” Reiji said as he released a portion of the power he stored up.
“Holy crap, the new guy is strong.”
“The other guy was a C-ranked adventurer. Not to mention,
an other-worlder. They’re supposed to have power like no other.”
“That guy must have the power of a B-rank or maybe even
an A-rank.”
“What’s going on out here?” A man yelled as he walked out
of the backroom with a girl fixing her clothes.
“Guild Master!” The receptionist said.
“Tanya, what’s going on out here?” He asked.
“I don’t know much, but two of the new adventurers, I
registered just now, were talking to our problem child adventurer. Then, out of
nowhere, the problem child was launched in the wall, and his party drew their weapons.”
She explained.
“Okay, you two. What do you have to say for yourselves?”
The guild master asked Reiji and Touka as he released a massive amount of
power. However, unlike everyone else in the guild, Reiji and Touka were
unaffected by his power.
“We were minding our own business,” Touka said.
Suddenly, the guild master attempted to smack Touka, but
he was interrupted by Reiji, who was radiating anger.
“Look bastard, I don’t know or care who you are. But you
touch my sister, then you can say goodbye to your life.” He said.
Then, the guild master attacked Reiji with everything he
had, but Reiji was unscathed. The reason for this is because of Reiji’s
heritage. Jan-gu has the ability to turn their skin into something harder than
dragon scales from Universe Origin, making the ultimate defense and offense.
However, Reiji didn’t want to use this ability for too long. So, he got into a
solid stance used by his father. Then, he cocked back his fist into the second
position of the stance while the guild master was still attacking him. Then, he
punched towards the guild master slowly to limit his power output. Suddenly, he
heard Touka’s voice.
“Stop it, Reiji! You’re just making a bigger scene.”
“You’re right. We shouldn’t make a scene. Let’s meet up
with Raven and the others. They probably chose a difficult job for us by now.”
Reiji said as he powered down.
“So, question. What do you think about Raven?” Touka
asked.
Reiji stopped and looked at Touka.
“She’s my cousin, and nothing else.” He answered.
Touka, knowing when Reiji was lying, just accepted his
answer. As they walked away, the guild master yelled out.
“Wait! You still need to face punishment!”
Reiji sighed.
“Okay, what you had in mind?” He said as he mistakenly
released his power slightly, which instilled fear in the guild master. The
guild master looked around the guild at all the members. Suddenly, he had an
idea.
“You have to work with him and his team on jobs approved
by me for three weeks. And, you’ll have to pay a fine out of the rewards.”
“Fine, those terms are agreeable.”
“Seems like we’re going to be working together, Rei.” The
girl behind the guild master, who was fixing her clothes, said.
This girl was Reiji’s ex-girlfriend, Layla Aoi. He didn’t
expect to see her in a place like this, let alone coming out of a private room
with a disgusted, fat guy. He wondered what happened to her in two days, but
for her it was a couple of weeks.
“You know him.” The guild master said.
She nodded.
“Him, Tai, and I go to school together. I’m very sorry
how my underclassman acted to you.”
“Don’t apologize for me, Aoi,” Reiji said.
“Wow, Reiji, you became so different since coming to this
world.” she said playfully.
Reiji sighed heavily.
“Layla… let’s meet at the front gate tomorrow at 7 am.
Since we already have a job chosen, we’ll start this punishment. Tell that
idiot too.”
“7 am. Okay, we’ll meet you at the gate. Oh, Reiji, even
though we’re in a different world, you should still call me senpai.”
“Don’t count on it.” Reiji said as he walked out of the
guild.
“Wait, I still have to approve your job.” The guild
master said.
“Don’t worry, Guild master. Knowing Reiji, it probably
something simple.” Layla said.
“Okay, shall we continue with our meeting.” The Guild
master said with a lustful expression.
“Alright, let’s go.” Layla said.
“Wow, he’s gotten ruder. Huh sis.” A voice said.
“Yeah, he still better than that bastard who sells our
sister off to that slimy bastard.” Another voice said.
“Jeez, you’re always overprotective of your older
sister.” An older woman said.
“Of course, Mom. If we don’t, who knows what will happen
to Layla.”
“Okay, you two. Let’s go get ready for tomorrow’s quest.”
Their mother said.
The next morning, Reiji and the others were waiting in front
of the gate. An hour and thirty-four minutes after the meeting time and no one
from Layla’s party showed up. Tempted to leave, Reiji decides to sit and
meditate. This was his way of learning about his power to a better extent.
Bored, Raven joined him following Mia. Twenty minutes later, Layla and her
party show up to see Reiji resting with two beautiful girls on his shoulders,
and his sister and little girl in his lap.
“Jealous, Sis.” One of the voices said.
“Tsk” Layla clicked her tongue as she turned away.
“Rina, stop teasing your sister, and wake up them up.”
Their mother said.
“There’s no need. We’re awake. What happened to 7 am?”
Reiji asked as they got up.
“Well, we needed to get some horses and some more
supplies for the trip. Not to mention a map. Unless, you know where we’re
going, which I highly doubt.” Layla said arrogantly.
“Layla, don’t you see. They don’t have any kind of
supplies. They don’t even have horses. They don’t understand the basics of
Adventuring 101.” Tai said while he and the others gave smug looks. The only
ones who didn’t look smug were Layla’s mom, sister, and brother.
Reiji sighed and held out his hand. Suddenly, his ring
glowed and summoned a large, armored garbage truck out of thin air. The sight
of the truck shocked everybody in their party.
“I already regret having to work with you people. Please
don’t make it difficult for me.” He said.
“What? How? Where did he get that truck from?” Tai
thought to himself.
“We were going to ride in this, but since you got horses,
we’ll just meet you there. The quest location is in Aideda. See you in two
weeks.” Reiji said picking up Reina and placing her on his back.
“Raven, you carry Mia and I’ll carry Touka. We’ll fly to
Aideda.” She said.
“Now, look who’s being a showoff.” Raven said teasingly.
“Maybe you rubbed off on me.” Reiji replied.
Raven smiled in response to Reiji, and he smiled back at
her. For a second, they felt completely in a trance with one another. Then,
Touka snapped her fingers between them, which brought them out of their trance.
“This is not the place or time for you two to be lovey
dovey.”
Reiji looked around and saw Mia blushing while she was
covering her eyes. He also saw Layla’s face red, but not with an embarrassed
like Mia, instead it was radiating pure anger and jealousy.
“Right, I forgot about them. Anyways, let’s go.” Reiji
said as he picked up Touka.
“Whoa, Bro! What are you doing?” Touka said as she
squirmed.
“Be still, I might drop you.” Reiji said as he began to
float.
Witnessing this, Layla and the others nearly fainted. The
only ones who was completely okay with him flying were Layla’s mother and
little brother.
“Wait, young man! Won’t it be quicker if we travel
together.” She suggested.
“Yes, it would be, but you and the others already have
horses. It’s not like you can return them for a refund.” Reiji said.
“Well, you’re right there, but remember what the guild
master said. You need to cooperate with our party for your jobs.” She said.
Reiji sighed as he had landed and summoned the armored
truck. Then, everyone got in the truck. However, there was a single problem.
Tai was upset that Reiji was driving instead of the adult. Reiji tried to
explain to him, as a safety precaution, He enchanted his vehicles with a
irreversible magic similar to DNA scanner. Only people with Reiji’s DNA can
operate them, leaving the options very limited. Sadly, Tai didn’t believe
Reiji. So, Reiji told Raven to drive, but Tai still had problems with that.
Then, Reiji remembered that he installed an auto pilot system in each vehicle.
Unfortunately, Tai was still uncooperative. Tired of Tai’s whining, Raven
walked up to him and slapped him into a wall. However, Layla didn’t like that.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Layla asked with
hostility.
“What? I’m just shutting up an annoyance.” Raven replied.
“OKAY, BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN YOU CAN ABUSE MY BOYFRIEND.”
Layla responded with even more hostility.
“Layla, calm down. There’s no need for you to be angry.”
Reiji said.
“Shut up, you spineless bastard.” Layla said without
hesitation.
Instantly, Reiji snapped. His eyes glowed and his hair
turned red.
“What the heck?” Layla said as stepped away from Reiji.
Then, a pulse of air knocked everyone, except Raven, into the walls of the
truck.
“Raven, what’s going on?” Touka yelled out.
“Nothing serious. Your brother is dealing with suppressed
emotions that never was solved, and it causing a spike in his powers, causing
him to lash out.”
“So, you mean a tantrum... isn’t he a bit old for that?”
Layla said.
“No, it’s nothing like a tantrum. It’s more like he’s
trying to stop himself from really doing what his mind wants.”
“What would that be?” Layla’s mom asked.
“To kill your ignorant daughter.” A woman said she phased
through the roof, and hugged Reiji.
Around noon, Reiji and the others gathered at a round
table, but this table wasn’t ordinary. It was a holographic table that shows
everything. It had a weak connection to the supercomputer at the Armory, which
holds the majority of Sage in it, and has unlimited knowledge. Everything
needed for the journey was at their fingertips.
“Alright, pay attention. The quest Reina, Mia, and I
chose was a subjugation quest. We have to get rid of three elder dragons that
plan on terrorizing the village of Aideda. A C-rank quest meant for thirty
adventurers.” Raven said.
“What! Are you crazy? We could die.” Layla said.
“Are you serious right now? Elder dragons in this world
are weak compared to the ones I trained with. They’re mindless beasts. What’s
there to be afraid of?” Raven said.
“What do you mean they’re weak. They’re the strongest
beings in this world. None of us has a chance against them.”
“Actually, the strongest beings in this world are me,
Reiji, and Anko.”
Layla’s mom, then, had a dreamlike flashback to earlier
that morning. A woman came through the roof of a truck and told her that her
daughter’s ex-boyfriend wanted to kill her daughter. However, he did his best
to hold himself back and she wondered.
“Why? Why would he go through that pain and strife for my
daughter, who broke up with him. Why did my daughter break up with him?”
Then, she looked at the woman as she easily walked to
Reiji. As she walked towards Reiji, Raven knelt down on one knee, as her way of
showing respect. Then, the woman grabbed one of Reiji’s arms and pulled him to
her.
“A prince of your caliber should never fight yourself for
a foolish girl. She isn’t worth it,” she said motherly as she hugged him,
calming Reiji completely.
Upset, both Touka and Layla got up and charged at the
woman.
“Touka!” Raven yelled.
“Layla!” Layla’s mother yelled.
Sadly, it was too late. They were already close enough to
attack and kill her. Layla drew her small-bladed swords and attempted to slice
her head off. Touka drew a gun from the ring and aimed it at the woman’s heart.
Strangely, the woman didn’t respond to either one of them. She just stood there
and happily hugged Reiji. As the attacks made contact with her, Touka and Layla
felt a strange feeling. A feeling of death rushing through every nerve in their
body. It was like being crushed with billions and billions of pressure. They
immediately backed off.
“You idiots! Do you two have any idea who you just
attacked?” Raven said.
Layla and Touka shook their heads while the others looked
confused and agitated, caused by all the drama. Raven sighed.
“The person you just attacked is Anko S.D.L. Amagiri, one
of the queens of the Jan-gu, and Reiji’s second mother.”
Instantly, Touka and Layla’s mother knelt down. Confused
and afraid, Layla’s brother and sister grabbed their daggers. Suddenly, both of
them rose up off the ground and floated over Anko.
“Put them down, you fre-
A piece of metal covered Layla’s mouth, interrupting her
outburst.
“I had enough of your voice. Be a good girl and shut up.
As for you two, you should really get to know me before you threatened to kill
me. Anyways, Raven. How you’ve been?” Anko said as she continued to hold Reiji.
“I been okay, Anko. But, I can’t say the same for Reiji.”
She replied as she rose up.
“Huh. Oh!” Anko said as she let Reiji go.
Raven slightly laughed. “Still the overbearing mother, I
see. Just like Reo.”
“You call it overbearing. I call it caring. But that’s
doesn’t matter right now. Why is Reiji’s power flaring like this?” Anko asked.
“Well, you see Rei-
“Please let me explain. Mother to mother.” Layla’s mom
interrupted as she got up off her knees.
“Okay, Explain.”
Then, Layla’s mom explained what happened since the day
they came to this world. She told Anko about how her daughter changed when they
arrived. She expressed her inner thoughts and emotions she held in for some
time. She then bowed while asking forgiveness for her daughter. Anko leaned
over to her and began to talk about herself as she released Layla’s mouth
covering.
“It’s alright. I understand. You want to protect your
daughter from both this world and herself.”
“What do you mean ‘protect me from me?” Layla yelled out.
Suddenly, Layla’s mom was brought back from her dream.
She looked around and saw nobody was in the truck. She looked outside and saw
they were in a forest. Then, she saw Reiji and Anko meditating while floating
above the ground. Curious about what’s going on, Layla’s mom got out of the
truck and walked over to Reiji. Then, she placed a hand on his shoulder and was
shown glimpses of Anko’s past. Overwhelmed by the knowledge that she was
learning, Layla’s mother was struggling to stay conscious.
“What are you doing here?” Anko said.
“I... awake... can’t stay... help.” Layla’s mom struggled
to say.
Anko sighed and touched her.
“This should allow you to stay in my mind spectrum
without overloading your mind. Plus, I have some business with you.” Anko said.
“Thank you. I thought I was going to die.” Layla’s mom
said.
“Anytime. Reiji, do you have any questions?” Anko asked
as they were floating.
“Yes, can you tell me about my father?” He asked.
“Sorry, but he asked me not to tell you about him and
your biological mother. They want to introduce themselves. Besides, your mother
will get angry with me if I tell you something about her. Not trying to cross
that bridge.” Anko said.
“Okay, I’ll wait for them to come,” Reiji said as they
went left her mind.
“Good. Anyways, Mari, Layla’s mother, I want to ask you
something.” Anko said.
“How?”
“Don’t worry about how I know. Do you remember a little
girl wandering around in the cold sixteen years ago.”
“Huh?” Mari said as she remembered a little girl, crying
for her mother and father. “Oh my god, were you that little girl?”
“No. She was my daughter, Reiji’s sister.”
“But, Touka wasn’t born back then,” Reiji said.
“Anko is talking about your older sister, Azarel,” Raven
said as she walked out of some bushes with Touka and the others, soaked.
“What happened to you all?” Reiji asked worriedly.
“You don’t want to know. Anyways, what does Azarel have
to do with this woman?” Raven asked.
”She took care of Azarel while neither Reo nor I was able
to. And, for that, I want to give her something.”
“What do you have in mind?” Raven asked.
“You’ll see,” Anko said as her eyes glowed.
Worried about her mother, Layla ran to her mother’s side.
“Calm down, brat. I’m not going to hurt her.” Anko said
as she pulled a metallic liquid from the ground. Then, the metallic liquid
transformed into a necklace. “Here,” She said as she grabbed the necklace.
Mari extended her hand and took the necklace from Anko.
She thought to herself “Oh, a necklace. It’s pretty, but she could’ve given me
a weapon,” while looking at it. Suddenly, it transformed into a sword,
surprising everyone except Anko.
“This necklace is a weapon that has the power equal to a
dragon of the our universe. It can transform into anything you want, but its
primary form is it’s most powerful. Use it wisely.” Anko said.
“Wow! That’s amazing. Something like this is beyond me.”
Reiji said.
“Well, I’ve been doing this a little longer. Plus, I’m a
lot stronger than you.”
Suddenly, Tai and his friends laughed loudly.
“You mean to tell me you’re stronger than him. That
doesn’t surprise me, but that doesn’t mean you’re stronger than me.” Tai said
arrogantly.
“Is he an idiot?” Anko asked.
Reiji, Touka, Raven, and Mari nodded while Layla shook
her. Anko sighed with disappointment. Then, she looked at Mia.
“Okay, I’ll show you how powerful I am. Mia, Can I ask
you to hold something of mine?”
“Uh yes, what am I holding ?” She replied.
“Nothing, but my armor,” Anko said bluntly as her clothes
retracted into her wristband, leaving her in a black wrap around her chest and
red pants. Then, she took off her wristband and gave it to Mia.
“Alright, brats. All of you come at me at once.” Anko
said as she got into a relaxed fighting stance.
“All of us at once. Seems like that’s something you’re
skilled at something.” Tai said.
Anko, immediately, released a vast amount of power, which
caused Mia to feel weak. However, Tai and his friends were a little different
from regular people. Little did Tai and his friends know, they were a part of a
select few of people who gained a special boost to their DNA. They gained
strength, speed, and immunity to all different kinds of ailments such as
poison, burns, frostbite, etc. Unfortunately, this ability also has major
drawbacks such as immunity to healing magic and potions, no feeling from touch,
and slight mental warping. Anko realized this fact and took action. She,
immediately, took out Tai’s friends with a single punch to their guts. Then,
Tai snuck up on Anko and attacked her from behind. However, Anko activated one
of her abilities, Armor body. This ability turns her skin into a substance
harder than dragon scales from her universe. As a result, Tai shattered bones
in his arm, causing him to scream in pain.
Anko sighed.
“Really, you people have the guts to mock one of my kids’
power when you're this weak. Not to mention, the bullying you did to him. But,
what else should I expect? You’re only teenagers.” Anko said as she lowered her
aura.
Speechless, Reiji, and the others looked dumbfounded.
“You’re as strong as ever, Anko. But, that expected of
Reo’s rival and wife.” Raven said breaking the silence.
“Not really. This was only a small percentage of my
power. Anyway, I think we should get going. I promised I’d get you to Aideda
before three.” Anko said as her eyes glowed.
Suddenly, a large amount of magic energy formed around
each of them. Then, in an instant, Reiji and the party appeared in the middle
of a busy village. Every citizen of the town was working on rebuilding the
buildings. Then, an old man and a lady, old enough to be his daughter, walked
towards Reiji and asked
“Would you happen to be the adventurers who accepted our
request?”
“Yes, we are.”
“Well, I’m truly sorry, but the targets for that request
have been eliminated by another group of people,” he said
“What! Another group of people defeated three dragons.
Where are they?” Layla shouted.
“Of Course, I'll show you to them.” the lady said
politely.
While following the lady, Reiji noticed the villagers and
the damage done to the town. They were holes in many of the houses while some
of the houses were charred.
“Woah, those dragons did a number on this place. What
kind of dragons were they?” Touka said.
“It was a poison dragon, lightning dragon, and shadow
dragon.” the lady replied.
“But, the buildings are charred.” Mari said.
“The poison dragon used some type of specialized poison
that burned and melted the building.” the lady answered.
“It must've been some type of acid. Wonder what kind of
people can fight a poison dragon that shoots acids.?” Reiji thought to himself.
“Reiji, I sense a group of powerful auras up ahead.
Please be cautious.” Sage said.
As they got near the powerful auras, they saw a large,
red dragon sleeping beside of other dragon corpses. Next to the large, red
dragon was a Cerebus with four people using it as a pillow. There were two
women on each side of the man and a woman sleeping on top of him like a body
pillow. Then, Anko walked towards the group and released a powerful, deadly
aura, that choked Reiji and the others.
“What do you think you’re doing?” She asked.
“Taking a nap. Join us.” the man said unaffected by the
death aura, Anko emitted.
“Fine, ” Anko said as she powered down. She shrank the
woman, on top of the man, into a smaller dragon and picked her up. Then, she
laid in the same spot while holding the dragon. Shocked by the fact Anko forgot
about them, Touka and Layla angrily stomped towards them.
“WAKE UP!” they yelled.
“Anko, who are the two idiots screaming at us.” the man
asked.
“Be nice. These are friends of Reiji.” Anko said as she
slowly.
“Oh, his sister, who is obsessed with him, and his
gi...well, ex-girlfriend. Thanks for breaking up my son, by the way.” the man
said sarcastically.
Angry by the man’s words, Touka and Layla attacked the
man, but they were paralyzed by fear.
“Deja Vu. They did the same thing to me. We must have
that challenge effect on them too.” Anko said without flinching.
“But, I do have to give them credit for their bravery.
They raised their weapons towards us without flin-
Reiji, suddenly, attacked the man, but the man blocked
him with one finger.
“So, you want to have a word with me. Fine, let talk
somewhere more private.” The man said. Suddenly, Reiji and the man disappeared.
“Where did they go?” Touka yelled at Anko.
“So, loud. How does my son put up with your loud voice?”
One of the women said.
“Well, He probably has a high tolerance since birth
because of his loud mouth mother,” Anko said.
Suddenly, the other woman shot a blue fire blast at
Anko’s head.
“Temper, Lucie. Wouldn’t want another fight between us,
right. Unless you want to destroy another planet.” Anko said.
“That sounds like fun. A sparring match between lovers.
Things getting physical and touchy.” Lucie said slurring her word.
“Who gave her alcohol?” Anko asked, with a fearful tone.
“Uh, as a thanks, we gave them some jars filled with our
best wine. ” the lady said.
“Well, this is troublesome,” Anko said with a
disappointed tone.
“What’s wrong with her?” Touka asked.
“Let’s just say Lucie can’t handle her alcohol,” Anko
said.
“What do you mean?”
“I would go into details, but you won’t be able to handle
it.”
Almost instantly, Touka and the others caught on and
blushed beet red.
“Okay, I’ll be right back,” Anko said as she touched
Lucie.
Suddenly, they disappeared like Reiji and the man. Then,
Reiji, who looked traumatized, and Anko reappeared. Reiji's clothes were all
torn up revealing injuries over his body.
“Alright, That should do it. So, Reiji, How did feel
meeting your father?” Anko said.
“That was him!” Reiji said, excitedly.
Anko nodded.
“Holy crap. That man was my father. That power he
radiated was Godly. For the first time in my life, I faced the grim reaper and
survived.” Reiji thought to himself.
“Hey, you okay,” Touka asked him with a worried
expression.
“Yeah, I’m good.” He said while slightly smiling.
“Good. Now, Here’s a good question. What’s going on with
your body?” Touka asked, noticing Reiji’s bodies healed itself.
“His body is automatically healing itself. A common trait
among us, Jan-gu and Primordials.”Anko said.
“Jan-gu? Primordials? Reiji, what have you gotten
yourself into?” Layla thought to herself as she examined Reiji’s muscular, lean
body.
Suddenly, a hole opened up behind Anko. Then, Anko was
pulled to the hole. Then, the man’s head popped out, breathing heavily.
“Hey, Anko, I’m going to need your help.” He said.
“Alright, let make this quick,” Anko said while sighing.
Then, she looks at Mia. “Mia, how about you keep my suit. I’m sure it’ll be a
great help to you.”
Mia nodded her head.
After Anko walked into the portal, It closed almost
instantly. Then, Tai and his friends attacked Reiji, which launched Reiji back.
“Reiji!” Touka and Raven yelled as he flew into the large
dragon.
“Huh, what? Did something just tap me?” The dragon asked
as he looked around.
“Who knows, brother? Go back to sleep.” The little dragon
said.
“What happened to you, Shiro? You’re in your mini form.”
He asked as he transformed into a human form. Then, the little dragon
transformed back into her human form.
“Lady Anko must’ve come and turned me into my mini form.
But, if that true, then she must be ba-
Suddenly, Tai shot Shiro with a poisonous arrow.
Unfortunately for him, the poison wasn’t effective as he hoped. It only angered
her. She engulfed her hand with fire mixed black lightning and walked slowly
towards them.
“Hmm, weird. I don’t remember you being apart of this
village. Are you the adventurers who took the request?” She said as she got
closer.
Paralyzed by fear, Tai and his friends stood there
awaiting their fate. Layla rushed between Shiro and Tai, to intervene with her.
Luckily, Layla made it in time, but that didn’t stop Shiro. She continued to
walk forward. However, the fear that paralyzed Tai and his friends disappeared.
Then, using earth magic, One of Tai’s friends stopped her by encasing her feet.
“Foolish humans, they only made her angrier. Shiro is the
greatest Dragon Sage Arts master in our universe. Not even our father can match
her power. You’ll probably die if those flames touch you.” The male dragon
thought to himself.
“If you think this is going to stop me, you’ve got
another thing coming.” She said as she has gotten into a karate fighting
stance. “Dragon Sage Arts: Lightning Flame shot!” She yelled as she quickly
punched in front of her, which sent the flames on her hand towards Layla, Tai,
and his friends.
Then, something flew past the male dragon and Shiro and
blocked Shiro’s attack.
“See, this is exactly why I said we should’ve locked them
away. They have been nothing but trouble.” Sage telepathically said.
“Yeah, but the truck doesn’t have jail cells. I’m just
thankful you got a suit to me that quick.” Reiji telepathically said.
“Luckily, I got the Armory’s gate to work properly.
Sadly, I couldn’t get any other suit beside the Prototype. So, you have no
weapons.”
“That’s okay. Something tells me they wouldn’t be much
help.” Reiji said as he looked his cracked suit.
“Who are you?” Shiro asked.
“I’m Reiji. Reiji Lucrada.”
Suddenly, Shiro and the male dragon attacked him from his
left and right. Luckily, He was able to block, but the arms of his armor broke
immediately.
“How dare a little worm like you utter our family’s name
as you own it?” The male dragon said as he radiated an murderous heat.
“Prepare to meet your end,” Shiro said as she radiated
the same murderous heat.
“Woah, easy you two. You’re being rude.” Raven said as
she pulled the dragons back by the collars.
“Raven, what are you doing here?” Shiro asked.
“Protecting the prince from his dangerous cousins.” She
replied.
“Prince? They both said confused.
“You know Reo and Lucie’s second child. Reiji Lucrada.”
Raven said as she points to Reiji.
“You mean the little human boy who possessed a great
amount of power that almost killed Lady Lucie during childbirth,” Shiro asked.
Raven looked at her confused. She never heard of that
story before. But, she wasn’t as shocked as Reiji. He looked at his hand and
imagined him having that kind of power.
“Don’t worry too much kid. That power is sealed up until
your twenty-third thousandth birthday. Plus, you couldn’t kill me if you tried.
Perks of fusing with a Phoenix. Multiple lives.” Lucie said appearing and
hugging Reiji.
“Lady Lucie!” The dragon and Shiro said as they knelt
down.
“Ryuu, Shiro... What did we say about calling us, lord
and lady?”
“It wasn’t necessary.” They replied.
“So, why do you continue to call me Lady Lucie?
Seriously, Are you trying to make me upset?”
“No! Of Course not, La... I mean Lucie,” they said
simultaneously as if they feared her completely.
“Oh, but you didn’t hesitate to attack my son. He’s
probably traumatized from this.”Lucie said teasingly.
“And, for that, we are truly sorry. We didn’t recognize
him with that ridiculous thing on his head. We thought he was a foolish human
claiming the Lucrada name as his own.” Shiro said bluntly.
“Yes, it was a misunderstanding,” Ryuu said.
“Really, can’t you two take a joke? I was kidding. My son
won’t be traumatized by you two when you’re were holding back so much power.”
Lucie said.
“Seriously, they were holding back. My arms feel like
jelly.” Reiji thought to himself.
“Anyway, you heard them. Take that ridiculous thing off.
Let me see your beautiful face.” Lucie said happily.
“I wish I could, but this helmet doesn’t come off
easily,” Reiji said as the faceplate retracted into the helmet.
“Really? That’s inconvenient. Anyway, what the progress
on your mission?” Reo said appearing beside him and taking of Reiji’s helmet
easily.
“He only just started that mission. Give him time.” Anko
said.
“Alright, but you should know some things that Sage
wouldn’t know. But, first.” Reo said as he looked over to Tai, Layla, and their
friends.
“Dear, we can’t do anything to them. They’re Reiji’s
party members.” Anko said.
“Don’t worry, I’m not going to kill them, but we’re going
to need to make sure they won’t be pains later,” Reo said.
He shot a shockwave toward the ground. Then, the ground
beneath Layla, Tai, and the other party members opened a portal. One by one,
they were swallowed by the portal. Worried for them, Reiji, surprisingly,
jumped his father. Sadly, Reo was unphased.
“Calm down, Reiji. I just sent them to the cells in your
Armory. There’s no need for you to attack me. They are perfectly safe for time
being.” he explained.
“I guess I have no choice but to believe him.” Reiji
thought to himself.
“Good, I’m glad you can trust me. So, let me start by
saying this. The road ahead is going to be a tough one. Make sure you learn it
use your abilities. Don’t rely on Sage all the time. He’s here to help you
learn, not to do it for you. Like he built that giant city for you and the
others.” Reo said with a serious expression.
“What? How did you know about the city?”
“You do realize that it releases a lot of magical power
by the second, and the barrier, you placed around it, can’t hold it much
longer. I’ll give it another two days before it breaks completely. Then, that
king will find you. Speaking of which, that queen, you tamed, is waiting for
you. You should hurry with your communication satellites. It will benefit you
both if you can communicate with each other.”
“What are you talking about?”
Reo sighed with concern for his son.
“Reiji, she is the queen of the Hyland. Not only does she
have experience running a country, but she is also beastman.”
“What! The queen of Hyland is a beastm-
Reo placed his hand over Reiji’s mouth while shushing
him.
“Yes, but she doesn’t know she’s a beastman. She’s one of
those extremely rare beastman that doesn’t have any animal features. She was
abandoned as a baby until a noble adopted her for his gains. She was brought up
to marry the current king. I guess over time she gained a number of
questionable hobbies due the strictness of her father.”
“Well, that an understatement.” Raven thought to herself.
“Alright, you two, we can talk about this later once we
get back.”Anko said as she walked towards Raven.
“Get back? Get back where?” Reiji asked.
“To your mansion. We still need to talk.” She answered.
Then, Reo and Anko released an ungodly pressure and
transformed slightly.
“Pay attention, Son. This is your power at its max.” They
said.
Standing there in broken armor, Reiji was overwhelmed by
the combined power of his biological parents. He only imagined what Touka,
Reina, and Mia was experiencing. Then, he remembered he told Reina to stay in
the truck. Worried, he rushed towards the village’s center. Noticing Reiji’s
concern for Reina, Reo smiled and thought to himself “That’s my boy.” Anko,
Lucia, and Shiro slightly laughed. They knew what he was thinking immediately.
Then, they disappeared, leaving behind three people, Raven, Mia, and Shiro.
