A month later, Reiji woke up in his room, screaming.
Suddenly, Eriko and Touka burst into his room. Almost immediately, they charged
at Reiji. However, instead of hugs and kisses like he expected, they both
punched him.
“Ow!” Touka and Eriko asked.
“Are you okay?” Reiji asked.
“We should be asking you that,” Eriko said.
“What do you mean?” Reiji asked.
Touka and Eriko looked at Reiji with bewildered
expressions. Then, Touka looked around for a mirror or reflective surface.
Reiji, worried, activated the camera system he had set up in every room of the
castle. Then, he saw what they were talking about. His appearance was changed
into a seven-year-old child.
“What the fu-
Eriko looked at him with an intimidating look,
stopping him from continuing his sentence.
"What happened to me?” he asked.
“Well, it’s kinda hard to explain,” Eriko said.
“What do you mean?”
“Well, according to your father, it’s a reaction
caused by your transformation ability and your subconscious,” she answered.
“So, I have a transformation ability, and it
regressed my body to a seven-year-old. How?”
“Let me explain,” Yuko said as she walked into the
room.
“Who are you?” He asked.
“Oh right, you wouldn’t know me. I’m Yuko A.Lucrada,
your father’s cousin, bodyguard, and one of the vampire princesses. And, you
are in serious trouble.”
“Huh, why?” Reiji asked with a confused expression.
“Raven and your brother, Raphael, have plotted
against you and tried to destroy you.” She said.
“What? Why would she do that?” Reiji said as his
body begins to release aura.
“First, calm down, who knows what might happen in
this regressed state. You could easily destroy this city just by blinking.”
“Okay, stop with the exaggerations. That’s
impossible even for Reiji.” Touka said.
“Why would that be impossible? Reiji is a child of
my masters, Reo A. Lucrada and Lucie A. Lucrada.” Yuko said.
“What do they have to do with this?”
"His father, believe it or not, is one of the
most powerful people in the entire omniverse while his mother is the strongest
human being in five hundred universes,” Satania answered as she walked into the
room.
"Who are you? Another family member I didn’t
know about?” Reiji asked.
“I'm Satania, Raven's mother and queen of the
demons. Well, at least, I'm the queen of my universe's demons. My daughter and
her ex-boyfriend were trying to find a way to kill you and your father.
However, he got tired of waiting, and tried to kidnap and kill you, no matter
how many hours it took.”
“But, wouldn’t that be...
An alarm suddenly sounded.
“Alert! There are two large armies approaching the
city. Please evacuate to the bunkers below.”
“Armies? What armies?” Touka asked.
“I know the country of Hyland is one, but I don’t
know the other one,” Reiji said.
“Okay, we should get down to the bunkers quickly.
Where’s Reiji?”Eriko asked.
Satania and Yuko began to laugh. “Give you one
guess,” Satania said.
Instantly, Eriko realized what they meant, and tried
to run off after him. However, she was stopped by Satania and dragged into the
elevator to the Armory. She fought and threw a tantrum like a child. Following
her, Yuko was carrying Touka into the elevator.
Meanwhile, in a throne room in the sky, Rapheal and
Raven are sitting at a table eating a feast. However, something bothers Raven,
causing her to lose her appetite. Raphael noticed, and could already guess that
she was thinking about Reiji.
“What’s wrong, my dear? Is the food not to your
liking? I’m pretty confident in my cooking skills.” he said, sarcastically.
“If you call this food, then I’ll spontaneously
catch on fire and be struck by lightning,” Raven said, sarcastically.
They waited for a while to see what the other was
going to do, but neither was planning anything shady.
“Anyway, Raphael, What are we going to do about our
family? It’s only a matter of time until my mother comes to this place.” Raven
asked.
“You don’t have to worry about them. They couldn’t
come up here without setting off my security system which is designed to snipe
a flybeetle from millions of miles away.”
“So, is that why your father and mothers were on the
planet for all that time without you noticing.”
Immediately, Raphael released a large amount of
energy.
“What’s wrong? Mad that they didn’t come to see you?
Or, you couldn’t predict their visit. Well, that’s embarrassing. Aren’t you the
one who always brag about your ability to see and predict the probabilities of
the world better than anyone?”
Raphael, out of anger, blasted Raven into the wall
with a pulse of air.
“You disrespectful little tr... no, this is wrong.
Even if I hurt you, you won’t be hurt thanks to your hybrid DNA. No, I’ll have
to hurt you a different way.” Raphael said while smiling maliciously.
“N-n-n-no, y-y-y-you can’t!” Raven struggles to say.
“Watch me!” He said.
Back in the forest, the armies are setting up their
base of operations. And, the other-worlders’ leaders are at the center,
planning how they’re going to attack the city.
“So, I believe if we strike the city from the front,
a small team could enter from a different entry point.” One of the leaders said
as he pointed at the map.
“Okay, but what would this small team do? Are you
planning to assassinate the demon king?” the Japanese leader asked.
“ That was the plan,” he replied.
“Leave it to an American to run into an unknown
territory with guns a blazing, and with a simply stupid plan.” Another leader
said.
“Well, I don’t see anyone else coming up with a
plan, Frenchmen.”
“Are you trying to start a fight, President Donald?”
the Frenchmen asked.
“Oui, vous stupide français. Comb attez,” the
president said.(Yes, you stupid Frenchmen. Let’s fight.)
“Mauvaise prononciation, stupide Américain.” the
Frenchman said.(Wrong Pronunciation, you dumb American.)
“Enough both of you! We don’t have the time to fight
each other. We only have a matter of time before he finds out about us.” the
Japanese leader said.
“I agree with the Japanese leader. Who knows what
kind of surveillance system. We need to act fast before he acts.”
“Right,” They all said.
Meanwhile, at the other army camp, men and women
were gathered around a campfire, drinking, and eating. Suddenly, Reiji crashed
down into the middle of their camp. Following him were his suits of armors
hovering over the camp.
“Tell me. What are you doing here?” he asked.
Immediately, everyone drew their weapons. However,
their weapons’ shapes distorted, making them useless. Shocked and afraid, they
were paralyzed by the sight of Reiji. However, there was one person, in the
entire army, that was perfectly fine. She easily walked up to Reiji and looked
down on him.
“So, this is the big, bad demon king, huh. What’s so
scary about a little boy and his toys?” She said as she radiated a heat similar
to the sun. The surroundings became hotter by the second. Melting everything
around them. Then, something unexpected happened. Reiji punched the woman in
the stomach, but nothing happened. Then, the woman punched Reiji and knocked
him back a few inches.
“What! She pushed me back. What is she?” He thought
to himself.
“Reiji, the person in front of you is an enhanced
human. Be very cautious. In your current state, your abilities are very
unstable.” Sage said.
“Enhanced Human?” He thinks to himself as he dodges
her attack.
“What’s wrong? Is the big, bad demon king a scared,
little boy?” she said.
“Sage, give me a suit,” he said.
“Sending Mark 4. Codename: Radiant.” Sage said.
A portal opened and a pod flew into Reiji’s right
hand. This pod formed around Reiji’s hand, creating a red glove. Then, Reiji
extended his hand, and shot a condensed light beam at the woman, sending her
back a few feet. Then, more pods came flying out of the portal and attached
themselves to Reiji’s body.
“It’s strange. You people should consider your
options. You could run away and never show your face here. Or, accept your fate
and die here today. Truthfully, It would be easier if you choose to leave, but
who's to say your superiors wouldn’t try this again.” Reiji said as he hovered
over them, extending his hand.
Afraid of Reiji, the soldiers knelt down as a sign
of respect. Confused, Reiji formed a fireball and pointed it at them.
“Wait, your majesty.” The woman said.
Reiji decided to listen to the woman's plea after
seeing her desperate expression and dissipated his fireball.
“Your majesty, I, Seras Titus, beg for your
forgiveness. I wanted to test you to see if you were really as powerful as the
rumors told. And, I believe you are the exact person I was looking for.”
“What do you want from me?” Reiji asked.
“I hope that you allow me and the rest of my demon
soldiers to stay here in your kingdom. And, as proof of our loyalty, please
allow us to fight your enemy that threatening this kingdom.”
“Alright, you can stay in my kingdom, Human. But,
there is one condition. Your soldiers will be a part of one of my departments
with you as their leader. But, your assistance in this war is not needed.”
“ What do you mean?” Seras asked.
“Look for yourself,” Reiji said as he summoned a
holographic screen from his palm.
On the screen, Seras saw the Hyland army marching
towards the city. Overwhelmed by her confusion about the technology he was
using, she couldn’t understand what she was looking at. Then, the screen showed
a squad of golems hiding and waiting in the trees like predators waiting for
their prey. Soon, the Hyland army reached the gates of the city. Eager to
ravage the city, the soldiers split into several squads and rushed into the
city. After half an hour, each squad was relaxing in a small camp throughout
the city.
“Hey, your majesty, why haven’t the golems
attacked?” Seras asked.
“Because I didn’t order them. Right now, they’re
observing and looking for the otherworlders that came with me. I need to get
them to a place where they won’t get in my way before anything.” Reiji
answered.
Then, an alarm sounds throughout the city.
“Sage, what’s wrong?” Reiji asked, telepathically.
“There’s a planet-sized meteor falling towards the
city. I believed it was sent by your brother.”
“A planet-sized meteor!” Reiji yelled.
Seras and her soldiers looked at him with a confused
expression. Immediately, Reiji took off into the sky towards the meteor.
“Sage, is there anything I can do to stop the
meteor?”
“Maybe, if you were in your original form, but your
seven-year-old form, it’s impossible for you to control your destruction
ability.”
“My destruction ability?”
“The ability that allows you to break down anything
to its smallest particle.”
“Okay, but can’t I just punch into the meteor and
break it down into pieces?” Reiji asked.
Sage replied, “Yes, that is possible, but once you
break it you will need to send all the pieces away before they touch the
ground.”
“Why?”
“Well, the meteor of this universe is extremely
radioactive. The slightest touch of one could be compared to a nuclear bomb in
Universe Etasa. And, they destroyed planets and entire civilizations.”
“And, you’re sure it’s okay for me to touch it?”
“Of course, your armor should be able to absorb the
radiation from the sun... let alone this meteor,” Sage said, arrogantly.
“Sometimes, I forget that you have many different
sides to you,”
Reiji’s suit, then, formed a helmet around his head
as he flew into the upper atmosphere. Then, he stopped and looked down at the
planet.
“You know this is my third time flying up here, and
I never had the chance to enjoy the view.” Reiji thought to himself. Suddenly,
Reiji felt a burning sensation coming behind him. He turned around and saw the
meteor coming towards him at high speed. As he focuses on a point for his
attack, Reiji, suddenly, feels differently. He felt a little stronger and his
body changed. His body returned to its original form. Luckily, his suit was
slightly different from his first three versions. This suit was able to expand
slightly, due to its ability to be equipped easily and quickly.
As the meteor approached him, he hit the meteor with
all his force, but it pushed him back. The gravity fields of the meteor and the
planet intertwined and pulled each other closer.
“Sage, I’m going to need some help. Send me all the
suits.”
“Okay, but even with all the suits, you’re still
going to need to destroy or move the meteor. And, you still don’t have enough
power output in your current form,” Sage replied.
“Alright, Plan B. Send me the Primordial armor,”
Reiji said as he pushed off the meteor, leaving his suit to push against the
meteor back.
A pod flew up from the mansion at Reiji at a high
speed. As it reached Reiji, the pod opened and released a liquid metallic orb.
As the metallic orb hit Reiji’s back, it melted and formed a strong,
skin-tight, black suit with a jacket around his body. Then, his hair
transformed like it did when he saved the queen.
“So, Sage, tell me my power output now,” Reiji said.
“Power output? What are you talking about?” Yuko
said as she appeared beside Reiji.
“I guess it’s his way of keeping track of his power
while they’re still measurable,” Satania said.
“What you two doing here?” Reiji asked.
“Helping you destroy a meteor,” They said
simultaneously.
“Huh?”
“Yeah, we’re gonna destroy this meteor while you
send it pieces somewhere that doesn’t have any life,” Yuko said as she got into
a fighting stance.
“Just make sure, you get them all,” Satania said as
she got into the same stance.
“Right,” Reiji said as he gathered dimensional
energy.
Instantly, Yuko and Satania disappeared and a loud
boom echoed throughout the world. Then, the meteor shattered into millions of
pieces. Reiji, then, slashed the air, opening a large portal to hell, which
thousands of the pieces were sucked into the portal. However, the portal closed
before the last of the pieces were swallowed.
“Uh oh, I missed some.” Reiji thought. Then, his
body regressed back to his seven-year-old form.
“Huh, seems like you exhausted your powers. This is
very common for a Jan-gu hybrid around the beginning of their adult life. Once
you pass this awkward phase, you should be able to control your powers easily.”
“Alright, but I still have too many things to
handle. First, I had to find the demon and beastmen that are being oppressed by
the humans, whose trying to kill me. And, now I have to find radioactive pieces
of meteor sent by my idiot of a big brother and...
“Raven,” Satania said.
“Yeah,” Reiji said.
“Are you still hung up on her?” Yuko asked.
Reiji remained silent, knowing that Yuko was right.
Reiji was deeply scarred by Raven’s betrayal. He couldn’t imagine Raven
betraying him because of the blood they share. The thought of her betrayal
caused him to sink into a state of depression.
“Hey, stop!” Satania said.
“What?” Reiji said.
“I know that look on your face. It was the same look
on your father’s when he was younger. You’re letting your mind fall into a
state of depression, which will make your powers become more unstable. So,
stop, Raven might have betrayed you, but you still have others who care about
you. You’re never alone.”
“Funny that you say that because I feel alone. I’m
basically the only person in this universe who understands my powers. I might
sneeze and blow away the entire world.”
“Impossible, your father and mother wouldn’t let you
get close.”
“Yeah, but they’re universes away. They could never
get here that fast.”
“How did you think we appeared just before Raphael
delivered his finishing blow to your shadow cart?”
Reiji shrugged his shoulders.
“We got here through the shadows of your Lucrada
Clan members.”
“What?”
“I’ll explain it to you later. For now, you still
have to handle the army that roaming around your town.”
Reiji, then, looked at his holowatch as it projected
live videos of the army. They were trying to open a hidden door that leads to
the Armory. Curious about how they discovered the door, Reiji ordered one of
the golems to capture one of the soldiers and scan his memories from the past
twenty-four hours. Immediately, one of the golems quickly moved towards a
soldier who was standing in the back, keeping watch for his comrades while they
were looking for a key or secret lever for the door. It, then, grabbed the
soldier and jumped back to where the other golems were watching from. Once
there, another golem transformed its hand into a headgear and placed it on the
soldier’s head. Linking to the golem’s headgear to his holowatch, Reiji
downloaded all of the soldier’s memories. Sadly, he couldn’t find any helpful
information from his memories.
“Well, that unfortunate. They don’t know anything.
Most of them are low-level soldiers who know nothing about their mission. Just
people who followed the other-worlders blindly.”
“Huh, so what now?” Yuko asked.
“Golems, subdue all invaders, and capture the other
worlders,” Reiji said.
Immediately, the golems, that were hiding in the
shadows, attacked all the soldiers. Some of the golems moved with quick and
precise attacks, while others were using brute force to thin the numbers.
Afraid of the sudden attack, the soldiers immediately retreated back to their
camp outside of the city. However, golems, that were stationed outside the
city, stomped the ground, causing the ground to grow and form a wall around the
city, entrapping the soldiers inside. Many of the soldiers tried using earth
magic to break down the wall, but the walls quickly rebuilt themselves every
time. Eventually, some of the soldiers surrendered by kneeling to their knees
and praying before the squad of golems came to kill them.
“Wow, he is truly a member of the Lucrada family. To
take out an entire army alone is a feature anybody can do, but to do it so
quickly and strategically is something only a Lucrada can do. Raven, I hope you
know what you are doing?” Satania thought to herself.
Back in the throne room in the sky, Raphael is
throwing a tantrum after seeing his plan destroyed. Waves of air and energy
filled the room as he yelled and threw his throne. Suddenly, everything in the
room froze into place.
“Wow, a temper tantrum is something I didn’t expect
to see on you after a long time, Raphael,” Anko said as she and Cassie
appeared.
“I can’t believe it either. He made me use my cosmic
pulse waves to drive him away from Reiji and Yukio. What’s wrong with him,
mother?” Cassiel said.
“Truthfully, it is probably because of the reboot of
our universe. Reo and I made it so anything that had something to do with us
was rewritten. One of those things was you and Raphael weren’t adopted by us
and your parents never gave you two up to be sacrificed. But, we didn’t account
for the strong bonds between us and certain people. One of those being you. You
still returned to us being our adopted daughter. However, your brother resent
us for taking you away. But, I don’t know where he got the idea of us killing
you. That’s why I’m going to dive into his memories and see what has been
altered.”
Cassiel nodded and said, “okay, I’ll be waiting
here.”
“Alright, I won’t be long,” Anko said as her eyes
glowed. Then, she placed a hand on Raphael’s head.
Then, the doors opened and Raven walks in while
saying “Are you finished with your temper tantrum? Do you want your bottle?”
However, to her surprise, She sees Raphael froze in time with Anko doing
something strange to him and Cassiel standing in a position to attack her.
“What are you doing to Raphael?” Raven asked.
“That’s none of your concern, traitor,” Cassiel
said.
“I am loyal to the Lucrada Clan. I would never
betray them.” Raven yelled to Cassiel.
“So, do you not count my little brother, Reiji, as a
part of the Lucrada clan,” Cassiel said.
“What are you talking about, Cassie?” Anko asked.
“I thought you were… “Multitasking, now explain.”
Anko interrupting Cassie.
“Well, Reiji is currently heartbroken from the
betrayal of Raven to the point of his body regressed to a seven-year-old.”
“What! His body regressed to a seven-year-old.”
Raven yelled.
“Is this true, Raven? Did you break our son’s heart
with your games?”
“No, Anko. I’ve never played games with Reiji’s
heart.”
“Explain that to the seven-year-old boy who’s
currently finishing a war with his unstable powers. I doubt he knows that
you're lying to his second mother to save your own butt. You do know where
treasonous people like you end up, right.”
“Please, Lady Anko, please don’t send me to
Tartoros,” Raven begged as she got to the floor.
“Oh, don’t worry. I’m not sentencing you two just
yet. You two are important factors in his growth. Plus, I think it’s best for
him to decide your fates. And just to make it fair.” Anko waves her hands and
Raven is engulfed in a greenish light. “This will forbid you from talking to
him until he reaches his primordial level. And, if you try to talk to him, you
will feel millions of needles pierce your heart. The closer you get the more
pain you feel. This would possibly kill you if you weren’t a hybrid.”
“But- “And, Cassiel, since you feel responsible for
him, you will be watching over him. If she tries to do anything that’ll hurt
him, you will feel the same pain as she will in your right hand. And, if that
happens, rush to his side immediately. ” Anko said, interrupting Raven.
“Yes, mother,” Cassiel said, with a concerned
expression.
“Don’t worry. I’m not punishing you, Cassie. I’m
giving you a chance to get to know Reiji. We know how you felt when we sent him
away.”
Cassiel’s expression immediately changed.
“And, Raven, you may not intentionally hurt Reiji,
but you still did. And, I don’t think I can ever forgive you for that. But,
when the time comes, and Reiji can forgive you, I’ll surely try.”
Slowly but clearly, Raven begins to cry, knowing the
pain she caused. She, then, ran out the window and flew back to the planet.
“Wonder where she’s going?” Cassiel thought to
herself.
“Where else? To help Reiji on his mission. But, from
a distance, I hope.”
“Is that really okay?” Cassiel asked.
“Yes, it should be fine. Besides, we still have
Raphael’s mind to decrypt. Speaking of which, I should be done.”
“What did you find?”
“Nothing from his memories. However, there are small
traces of magic that originated from the youkai dimension of our universe. It
kinda reminds me of homunculus puppet magic.”
“You don’t think that- “No, he would never. He
respects and worships Reo too much to betray him like that. But, there’s
another person who can use this kind of magic. And, he hates us passionately.”
“Who?”
Meanwhile, back on in the Hyland army’s camp, the
last of the soldiers are being bound and conceal in an energy field that was
designed to capture bulldeer while they charged. Reiji, oversee the process he
thinks of ways this could handle the while thinking about ways to handle his
brother, who’s trying to kill him. Also, wondering what will he do about
radioactive meteor fragments spread across the world. Confused about what he
should do next, Seras walks into the camp.
“Your majesty, if I may, I suggest you send them
back with a message for the king,” Seras said as she arrived.
-three weeks later-
“Relinquish your demon and beastmen slaves and
captives to me and we can end this war on peaceful terms.” The king read aloud
in front of his court.
“How dare he? Does he think we’ll submit to him just
because his army won one battle? This is a war.”
“That arrogant fool has to pay.”
“I suggest we attack him again. But, this time with
our strongest generals leading them.”
“Preposterous, why should we follow your ideas?
Weren’t you the one who decided to attack that boy’s camp in the first place?
And, you see what happened to them. Let’s just give him what he wants.”
“Impossible, almost fifty percent of our kingdom’s
treasury depends on the slave market. We can’t afford to let them go,” the king
said with a commanding tone.
“Your highness, emergency! All of the demons and
beastmen in the capital have been taken by strange beings.”
“What! How did they get into the city without being
noticed?” The king yelled as he stormed out of the room.
